Western anyone?
I'll never forget Sam Peckinpah’s The Wild Bunch (1969), a late western with elaborate shooting sequences that are so well constructed, going from one side of the gunfight to the other, with piercing close-ups in between. Fast action!
Lately I saw a new western that happens in our times, it’s full of irony, showing our reality through the eyes of a character who acts like an old time cowboy. It’s called Down in the Valley (2005) featuring a great performance by Edward Norton.

haven't seen this one, but I hear it's a bit racy. Since you're a movie buff, have you ever seen Solaris? The Tarkovsky version, or the recent version with George Clooney? KCLS has the expanded Tarkovsky version with all kinds of cool extras. I really dig that movie.
I don't beleive I have seen a western. I like the cover art. I like your picture about the residential area in Poland, reminds me of Delhi.
I hate to admit this but my favorite western is the Quick and the Dead with Sharon Stone and Leo De Caprio. I love the story. And she makes a very cool sheriff!
Very nice site! I will be watching for more film recommendations. :)
I love your site. I haven't seen this western either. My two favorite westerns are Destry Rides Again with Marlene Dietrich and Jimmy Stewart and Cat Ballou with Lee Marvin and Jane Fonda. I guess I like them to be a bit funny. - Teresa
